We are receiving an increasing number of enquiries from patients seeking experts in the treatment of Atrial Fibrillation. It is therefore an aim of AFA to provide a database of centres and clinicians with a special interest in AF.
As well as raising awareness of Atrial Fibrillation, AFA aims to extend the range of materials and resources currently available to patients and medical professionals. AFA aims to achieve this by developing a wide range of medically approved, Department of Health endorsed, information booklets and biannual newsletters. These are just some of the resources which help to provide easy access to information for medical professionals, patients and carers.
The Trustees of AFA are keen to develop a database of physicians with an interest in managing AF so that patients may get access to care locally. To this end please send us your professional contact details to be included in this database. At present we have no plans to endorse or validate any of the entries on this database and will be making this very clear to patients.
